Notice To All Customers, Musicians & Agents
With the effect from the 5th March 2008, Pam & I will be leaving the Springhead. The brewery who own the Springhead building have informed us that there is some interest in other parties taking over the pub. There are a number of reasons, which have forced our decision, amongst them, include ever-increasing overheads, rules & regulations and the price we have to pay for beer compared to what Supermarkets sell for etc. The decision to leave the Springhead has been an immensely difficult one which if we could avoid then indeed we would have. You, the musicians, and customers have helped us to make this place one of the most successful independent music venues in the UK. We want to personally take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your support over the last 17 years. It’s been hard work, yet a privilege to be part of something very special The Springhead website and contact details will remain under our ownership.
